Strategy Framework 2026
We will drive the green transition in the industry by investing in solutions that reduce CO₂ emissions and fostering development together with our employees. We regard digital tools as a key part of the solution, as they support our decision-making, streamline workflows and make it easier to share
and use data – for the benefit of our customers, society and the climate.

The construction industry’s carbon footprint must be reduced
At GSV, we are committed to helping promote a construction industry that emits less CO2. That is why we are working hard to develop and offer solutions that make a difference – both for our customers and for future generations.
If the construction industry is to succeed in reducing CO2 emissions, we must tackle this challenge across the entire supply chain.
Our iMPAKT range consists primarily of the latest technology in battery-powered equipment, which emits neither particulates nor CO2. However, the iMPAKT range comprises not only machinery but also our charging solutions and our modules. At our iMPAKT City, which serves as a hub for customers and partners, we are establishing partnerships with the shared goal of building with lower CO₂ emissions. Together, we are developing digital solutions that help with oversight, reporting and alternative proposals for reducing CO₂ emissions.
Together, we are creating a better and more future-proof industry. That is why we have also launched various initiatives to foster partnerships, such as our ‘Construction of the Future’ conference, where we bring the industry together to discuss new technology and potential solutions.

iMPAKT equipment
With the IMPAKT range of equipment, we can work alongside our customers to promote zero-emission construction sites in Denmark. It is not just CO₂ emissions that are reduced when using machines from the IMPAKT range. Greater consideration is also given to colleagues and residents in the areas where construction is taking place. This is because the machines are quiet and do not emit particles that cause a nuisance to those operating them or to passers-by. This means that the iMPAKT series machines can also be used on construction sites in urban areas at night, as well as indoors.
5 benefits of iMPAKT that make a difference:
- The machines are quiet, meaning you can use them on indoor construction sites and in urban areas at night
- The machines emit neither particulates nor CO₂, which is good for the working environment
- The machines are packed with the latest safety features
- The machines are just as powerful as those running on fossil fuels
- Most of the machines can be charged using a standard 230V charger
iMPAKT charging solutions
Both our hybrid generators are compact and trailer-mounted. This makes them easy to transport and set up, and also makes them suitable for both temporary and permanent installations. Their user-friendly control systems make it easy to import data into our dashboard, which can be viewed on MitGSV. The hybrid generators in the iMPAKT series are available with either a 45kVA/22 kWh or a 90kVA/45 kWh power bank, which is primarily powered by a diesel engine and rooftop solar panels. Compared with traditional diesel generators, the hybrid generators reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions by up to 85%, as the hybrid generator runs on battery power during periods of low load and only activates the engine when necessary. This makes hybrid generators well-suited to tasks involving lower loads over longer periods, but not for charging equipment, as this would drain the battery far too quickly and cause the generator to switch to diesel.
Our trailer-mounted power banks are our green alternative to hybrid generators, for example if you need to carry out construction work with zero emissions. They are just as suitable for the same tasks as hybrid generators.
iMPAKT modules
Our Impakt Modules are better insulated in the roof and walls than a traditional module, and they feature triple-glazed windows, which also reduces heat loss compared with traditional modules. Built-in smart features in the form of IoT devices can be added to all modules; these collect data which the customer can access via MitGSV. Among other things, this ensures that the heat pump switches off when windows are open and that electricity consumption is monitored. You can also opt for solar panels on the roof, which can generate up to four kWh per hour – equivalent to what an average family uses in six hours. All our office modules measure 28 m² and can be configured in various ways depending on their intended use.
Internal dimensions (LxWxH): 9.03 x 3.15 x 2.50 metres
External dimensions (LxWxH): 9.56 x 3.50 x 3.40 metres
Weight: 8,000–12,000 kg
iMPAKT City
At our iMPAKT Cities sites in Greve and Aarhus, we are developing joint solutions to reduce particulate matter and CO₂ emissions on Danish construction sites, in collaboration with our customers and partners. iMPAKT Cities serves as both a knowledge centre and a test centre, where we showcase selected electric machinery, modules, power banks and charging solutions for construction site infrastructure – and where we also demonstrate how our data and digital solutions act as a catalyst for the green transition.
We are well aware that many of the country’s construction sites lack sufficient charging infrastructure to support this new development; that is why GSV has also invested in Clever’s mobile and flexible charging solution, which allows machines to be plugged in for charging during the lunch break and overnight.
It is not the individual machine that makes all the difference; it is the way we organise the construction site, select the right machines and use them on site. This is where our digital solutions come into play: we optimise usage, monitor the machines and help our customers choose emission-free options. That is why we are ready to advise our customers across the country, as well as in our ‘Impakt Cities’, so that they get the solution that suits each individual project.
Our digital tools are a catalyst for the green transition
We’ve made it easy for you to choose equipment that makes a difference. Look out for our Low emission and iMPAKT equipment when making your selection in the GSV App or on gsv.dk.
If you hire equipment that isn’t iMPAKT or Low Emission, you can access data on how much CO₂ the machines have emitted whilst you’re using them – log in to MitGSV and download the CO₂ report.
